Fiesta 2019The Fiesta Parade kicked off a day of events around #TorC for the 2019 Truth or Consequences Fiesta. Lots of local color and flavor was on hand as folks from all over Sierra County came to celebrate. Below is a sample of photos of the day's events. Please enjoy with a friend.

We will be updating this gallery over the next few days...

Indian Rocks @ Ralph Edwards Park in TorCOne of the more interesting TorC places is tucked away almost out of site in Ralph Edwards Park. Tucked back off the road and behind the fishing pond is a rock formation that hides some of the hot springs history.

Fiesta Parade 2019

Once I read an interview with a Nationall Geograpgic photographer. He said his secret for building a great 12 photo layout in the magazine was to take 20,000 photos. Now we didn't take that many, but we did have an abundance of photos to choose from.

Held annually since 1950, Truth or Consequences comes together to celebrate with a parade, rodeo events, dances, tournaments, games and contests (like the popular junk boat race), and much more.

Well, we were certainly surprised when we returned to Elephant Butte Lake State Park in Sierra County New Mexico this year to find that they still hadn't fixed the RV dump at the Lion's Beach camping loop.
